Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Adikarige Indula Akalanka Adikari (ABN 77 817 915 572) ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information in connection with the website at slipd.au (the "Service").
1. The short version
- Your files never leave your device. The PDF tool runs entirely in your browser. We do not upload, receive, store or have access to your files.
- We do not have user accounts, and we do not ask for your name or email to use the Service.
- The Service is free because it shows ads. Our advertising partner, Google, may use cookies and similar technologies on the parts of the site that show ads, subject to your choices.
2. Your files
The PDF tool runs on a separate part of our website (app.slipd.au) that is isolated by your browser from the rest of the site. No advertising, analytics or other third-party code runs in that part of the site, and it does not send your files, file names or their contents anywhere.
Your files are held only temporarily in your browser's memory while you use the tool, and are cleared when you close or reload the page or select "Start over". We never see them.
3. Information collected automatically
Hosting. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the website, Cloudflare processes technical information about requests to the site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages requested. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and provides us only with aggregated statistics (such as page views and approximate country). We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Preferences. If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is stored in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to us.
4. Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use it only to respond to you and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose and any related legal obligations.
5. Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads on the parts of our website outside the PDF tool.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this website and/or other websites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time using the "Privacy choices" link in the footer. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised ads.
We do not control the data Google and its partners collect, and we do not receive personal information about you from them beyond aggregated reporting.
6. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not create user profiles. We do not send marketing emails. We do not collect your files.
7. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- your consent for advertising cookies and personalised advertising; and
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the website for hosting and security processing.
8. International transfers
Our service providers, including Cloudflare and Google, may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, they rely on recognised transfer mechanisms.
9. Security
We have designed the Service so that we never hold your files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information processed by third-party providers.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a regulator. Because we hold very little personal information, in most cases the only information we hold about you is any email you have sent us.
To make a request, contact us at aiaadikari@gmail.com. For information held by Google, use Google's own privacy tools.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, if you are in the EEA or UK, your local data protection authority.
11. Children
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy by publishing a new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
13. Translations
We may provide translations of this Privacy Policy for convenience. If there is any inconsistency, the English version prevails, to the extent permitted by law.
